Mercedes LA1313 shown as DSB HF-radio vehicle used by the former 6th Danish Signal Battalion in Randers. 3 trucks were configured as transmit (TX only) trucks with 3 ea. HF-DSB 1 kW transmitters RF-110B (RF Communications, Inc.), 1 ea. 5 kW booster RF-126 and 1 RF-505A receiver. The receiver enabled the truck to be deployed as a complete station, but was scarcely used
Other equipment consisted of 1 ea. diversity-receiver system AD-455 from Telefunken and 5 dipole-antennas (3 x transmit, 2 x receive).
The 3 trucks were placed in a transmit-area up to 40 km form the headquarter, and connection back to the headquarter was made by a radio relay link. Although able to use CW, the stations were used for radio-teletype (RTTY) only.

3 shelters, mounted on Mercedes-Benz 911/36 were configured as receive (RX) trucks, and were placed in the same area as the Facility Controller (FACON), and the TTY trucks.

All vehicles were later replaced by Magirus-Deutz 168M11FAL.
