Specific: Procured 1998 for container-handling.
Historical: The Eurotrakker-range was developed
in the early 1990´s. It comprises a range of vehicles
covering the weight categories from 19 to 40 tonnes.
Models include 4 x 2, 4 x 4, 6 x 4, 6 x 6, 8 x 4 and 8 x
8 configurations. The models share the cab (except for
minor details), engines and gearboxes with the heavy
on-road Euro-models.
Early vehicles were available with engines with an output
from 300 to 420 hp and complied with the EURO I emission
standard. Later vehicles had engines complying to the
EURO II and III standard with output in the 350 to 540 hp
range. Gearboxes are either Allison, ZF or Eaton,
depending on engine type.
Options includes air-condition, roof-hatch with/without
integral machine gun ring mount and add-on armoured
protection from mine blast and small arms fire in varying
levels up to 7.62 mm armour piercing rounds.
Other known users are Argentina, Britain, Egypt, Germany,
Italy, Malaysia, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Spain and
Switzerland.

Both tractor and trailer are equipped with ABS.
