The Magirus-Deutz 178 entered service in the Danish Army in 1967. The 178, designated as Truck, 7.000 kg, was primarily used in artillery-units as cargo-carrier and artillery-tractor. Here shown in national camouflage scheme, and mounted with a crane for loading and un-loading artillery-granates.
Now superseded by the Magirus Eurotrakker.
