: After having been working for the
Thrige company P.A. Fisker and H.M. Nielsen funded the Fisker & Nielsen company in 1906, which produced electro-engines and later the Nilfisk vacuum-cleaner.
The first Nimbus MC was introduced on the 20th of April 1919 by P.A. Fisker.
The motorcycle was, to the regret of Mr. Fisker, known as the "stovepipe" due to the shape of the fuel tank.
Among other users was the police and the postal service.
