Danish Army Specific: The Mercedes 1213 entered service in the Danish Army about 1978, superseding the Bedford J6. Designated as a 5.000 kg truck, the 1213 is primarily used for on- road cargo transportation, office van with thermal tarpulin cover, driver training vehicle etc.
