Danish Army Specific: This 5000 kg 4x4 truck has superseded the Bedford R-series in the early 1980s and is now in widespread use by the Danish Army.
Historical
: It was previously designated Magirus 168M11FAL, but has been re-designated IVECO 110 - 16 by the manufacturer.
With the new name came some slight changes like the brakes which became air-over-mechanical rather than air-over-hydraulic.

: Deutz Diesel, 6-cylinder, type BF6L 913, 6.128 cm3 (373 cubic inches) displacement, air-cooled, turbocharged.

Transfer case: 2 speed.
Electrical system: 24 volt, negative ground.
Brakes: Dual circuit pneumatic.
