truck has superseded the Bedford R-series in the early 1980´s and is now in
widespread use by the Danish Army.
Historical: It was previously designated Magirus
168M11FAL, but has been re-designated IVECO 110 - 16 by
the manufacturer.
With the new name came some slight changes like the
brakes which became air-over-mechanical rather than
air-over-hydraulic.
