Danish Army Specific: Procured around 1951 via the MDAP. Used for hauling engineer material. Some were equipped with a crane (109 kb).
Historical
: The Mack NR-series was in production throughout WW II, mainly for the long distance supply role. The final version of the military NR chassis range was launched in late 1943. It encompassed all the main features of its predecessors (NR-1 to NR-13) plus a significant feature of its own: dual rear tyres. The body was the US Army standard wooden type. The soft top cab came with the NR-8.
Used in large numbers by the British and Canadian Armies, also as tank transporters.
When production ceased a total of 16.548 NR´s had been produced.
