In the mid 1960´s a spiral four cable truck was developed. The truck contained cable and material to lay cable, typically between field communication centers and UHF radio sites.
The setup was later transferred to trucks like Mercedes-Benz 1213 and IVECO Magirus 110-16 AWM.
