Historical: The purpose of this vehicle was to
provide mobile facilities for crane, shovel, dragline,
back hoe, clamshell and pile driver operations. The
accessories were transported on a 2-axle trailer.
The unit was mounted on a motorised chassis for rapid
point-to-point travel, as well as for transporting the
the lifted load when used as a crane. The revolving frame
contained the operating machinery, mounted on a cast
steel frame.
