Danish Army Specific: Since the mid 1950´s, VW has played a major role in vehicles for the Danish Army. Although not generally adopted in the Army (as the Navy and Airforce), a few Caddy´s are in service.

: The Caddy, based on the VW Golf, was introduced in 1982. Co-producer on this vehicle was TAS in the former Yugoslavia.
