The Mercedes 240GD/28 is used by the 1., 3. and 5. Danish Signal Battalion to house the DEOS communication system delivered by Marconi in Italy. DEOS is normally serving Danish Division and Multi National Corps North East in Stettin, Poland, but is also serving the Danish part of SFOR in the former Yugoslavia.
