Bought in 1994 the MP260 "Eurotrakker" is intended to supersede the Magirus 178 series and the Mercedes 2626. The Magirus is powered by a 13.798-cc 6 cylinder diesel-engine with a output of 370 HP at 1900 rpm. Transmission is 8-speed with 2-speed transfer-box. Available as 6 x 6, 6 x 4 and 6 x 2 in the range from 18 to 85 tons depending on configuration.
Some mounted with a 10 ton capacity Rotzler winch (type HZ090/2-96).
