A new search for armored
vehicles started in 1930. After looking at vehicles as
the Carden-Loyd VI Light Tank and the French
Autochienille de Cavallerie M 1928, economy forced the
Army to build their own vehicles for evaluation. The
chassis chosen was a Ford, and the "armor" was
made of steel-plates which made it possible to alter the
vehicle when required.
The truck was armed with a 20 mm machine canon and 2
machine guns.
Evaluation of this new vehicle started in October 1931
where it participated in a spring exercise. The vehicle
did´nt perform that well, and by the end of the year the
project was cancelled.
