vehicles bought from the British Forces in Germany just
after WW II.
At least 19 were used by the Zealand Engineering
Regiment. Probably disposed of between 1952 and 1955.
Historical: Developed from the Dennis Ace semi-forward control
commercial-type truck. Between 1939 - 44 Dennis of Guildford
produced approx. 1100 of these end-tippers for RASC and Army.
Dropside body was raised by Edbro hydraulic gear. They
were popularly known as the "Dennis Pig".
Other known types are cesspool emptier and signals van.
