Shown is the Bedford RLC as Facility Control (FACON) truck as used by the former 6th Danish Signal Battalion in Randers. The FACON´s were used to control and switch all telephone-, teletype- and radio-circuits in the battalion.
The vehicle was initially an office van, but had been re-assigned as FACON and used redundant equipment for operation.
It was superseded by a number of Mercedes-Benz LA1313/36 trucks around 1975.
